Applications are now open for the Digital Production for UNDP’s Gender and Crisis Social Media Campaign.
A key part of the planning and implementation of this initiative is the production of engaging visual assets to accompany UNDP’s key messages.
Objectives
The gender and crisissocial media campaign is a three-week initiative (November 21- December 10) aimed at raising awareness about women and girls in crises and fragile settings. A key part of the planning and implementation of this initiative is the production of engaging visual assets to accompany UNDP’s key messages. The target audience is general public to be reached via all UNDP social media channels(Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube) across 3 languages (English, French and Spanish).
Scope of work
Key messages will be provided by UNDP, which the vendor will use to design the visual products for the campaign. The vendor will produce one social media video and eight animations in three languages (English, French and Spanish).

- Form November 21 to December 10.
Outputs
- The proposal should include at least but not limited to:
- A detailed timeline for production and final delivery. All materials below should be final and delivered by COB on November 11, 2022; Detailed timeline shall be submitted two (2) weeks after signing of contract.
- A design mockup of the how the campaign products will look, to be approved by UNDP; Mock-up shall be submitted one (1) week after the initial team meeting with UNDP.
- Eight (8) animations of 8-15 seconds featuring key statistics and statements, including UNDP’s logo in line with corporate branding guidelines. These would be in three languages (English, French and Spanish) and square (1×1) in dimension. This will include eight social media messages (for Twitter – no more than 280 characters) to accompany each of these graphics (English only) and the provision of editable files; Animations shall be completed and delivered by 11 November 2022.
- One (1) video, approximately 90 seconds in duration (MP4 format with a resolution of HD1080 or higher) with facts and statements, including captions (in three languages). and script writing by the vendor based on UNDP key messages. This would include 3 social media messages (for Twitter – no more than 280 characters) to accompany the video (English only) and the provision of clean noncaptioned files.
- All supporting material (background notes, key messages and facts) will be provided by UNDP ahead of coordination and planning time with the vendor.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Skills and Experience for the Service Provider and Key Personnel:
- The team shall be composed of at least one (1) Social Media Specialist, one (1) Video Editor and one (1) Graphic Designer. The Social Media Specialist will have at least five (5) years of experience in content development and social media management; the Video Editor will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in professional video production; the Graphic Designer shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in graphic design, social media content, visual assets, and videos.
- At least 3 years of experience working with brands creating iconic work for campaigns, short films and social media. Provide 3 examples of social media campaigns, including graphics and video, within the past 3 years.
- Experience producing visual products for an international organization is desirable.
- A minimum of three (3) key personnel, as specified above, is required. However, the project team is not limited to identified key personnel.
Evaluation Criteria
Will be made on the basis of the team’s skills and experience and is based on the 70% technical offer and 30% price weight distribution. The minimum passing score for technical proposal is 70%. Only those companies which pass 70% threshold will be requested to provide the password for financial proposal.
- The technical proposal must include:
- A description of your company and the team you propose to support this, including qualifications of key personnel.
- Details of similar and successfully completed projects; three samples as indicated above.
- A brief description (maximum 2 pages) of how your company would fulfil the terms of reference and provide the expected results/products, including a timeline for delivery.
- The financial proposal must:
- Contain an overall offer in USD
- Be Password protected
- Cover all the services to be provided (“all inclusive”).
- Be submitted as per the Financial Offer Form.
