Do you or your organization want to broaden your horizons to gain new contacts, insights and collaborations? Vinnova now offers funding for people active in research and innovation who want to work in another organization for up to 12 months.
The offer is aimed at organizations that want to strengthen competence both at organizational and individual level. Vinnova offers financing for a person who is given the opportunity to stay at a new workplace, in a different organization than their current one.
The venture is a collaboration between Vinnova’s area Sustainable industry and Competence provision for innovation power. This means that the exchange of knowledge should aim to contribute to one or more of the following focus areas: Climate-neutral and circular production, Resource-efficient and resilient value chains, Global competitiveness and A socially sustainable industry.
Funding Information
- It is possible to apply for grants of up to SEK 500,000 per project with a project duration of a maximum of 12 months.
Performance Target
- The projects that are financed within the framework of the call are expected to contribute to all of the below performance targets
- New skills for a sustainable industry, both at individual and organizational level.
- Increased innovation and learning ability.
- New contact surfaces and conditions for a long-term and lasting cooperation
- New ideas, experiences and technological insights that contribute to a sustainable industry.
- Broadened and deepened general competence of other existing personnel in the organization.
- Increased insight into future recruitment needs in the organization.
- A clear idea of how cooperation should be taken forward after the project is finished.
Eligibility Criteria
- Universities, university colleges and research institutes as well as private or public organizations.
- The offer is aimed at organizations that work for a sustainable industry and that want to strengthen competence both at organizational and individual level. Vinnova offers financing for a person who is given the opportunity to stay at a new workplace, in a different organization than their current one.
- The stay can be spread over a period of 12 months. The support applies to people who have a doctorate or have at least two years of experience in research and/or advanced development work. The offer is aimed at universities, colleges and research institutes as well as private and public organizations.
- The aim is to strengthen contact surfaces and cooperation between organisations, as well as to contribute to the exchange of skills at both an organizational and individual level.
- The offer refers to both national and international mobility.
- Projects must consist of two project parties, one of whom is the coordinator. In the case of an international exchange, the coordinating party must be a Swedish legal entity. In this respect, a foreign organization that has a branch or place of business in Sweden is equated with a Swedish legal person.
