The Woking Borough Council is seeking nominations for its 2022 Sport Woking Awards to recognise the wealth of sporting talent within the borough and celebrate those who play a vital role in helping others to achieve their personal best.
The Sport Woking Awards are co-ordinated by Woking Borough Council and supported by a host of award sponsors which this year include Boz’s Fruit and Veg, Seymours Woking, Freedom Leisure and the Woking News and Mail.
Award Details
- Young Sports Personality of the Year: £150 cash prize and fruit basket
- Sports Personality of the Year: £250 cash prize and fruit basket
- Inclusive Sports Award: 12-month Freedom Leisure membership
- Outstanding Service to Sport: £100 cash prize
- Community Contribution of the Year: £100 cash prize
- Health and Wellbeing Champion: 12-month Tennis in Woking household membership, plus tennis balls
- Volunteer of the Year: £100 contribution towards new sports equipment.
