Deadline: 14-Nov-22
The Children in Scotland is excited to announce the Access All Arts Fund, an exciting project to help support children and young people, aged 11-25 and who live in Scotland, access creative arts opportunities and support wellbeing.
They believe the arts (things like drawing and painting, making music, creative writing and acting) are for everyone. Creative activities like these are great fun and they can help people express themselves and support them to feel good.
This fund has been developed by a group of children and young people who have experienced their own barriers to the arts. This fund was developed over summer and autumn 2022.
Funding Information
- The fund is limited, and they want to support as many people as possible. They ask you to only apply for the amount of money that you need. The maximum amount of funding available is generally £1,000, although there may be some flexibility for special projects or group projects.
- There is no minimum amount, so it’s fine to apply to for a small amount of money to fund your creative activities.
- Applications with a clear list of costs are more likely to be funded.
Eligible Activities
- Young people can apply for all sorts of projects or creative activities, including visual arts (painting, drawing, animation, sculpture, photography), performance art of all kinds (dance, theatre), crafting (sewing, pottery, woodwork), writing (poetry, non-fiction, plays) or digital art (like making videos or videogames).
What can the funding be used for?
- The funding can be used to help young people try new arts activities or help them develop their work and realise new creative projects. The fund can pay for anything you need including materials and equipment, classes, transportation, software, venue hire, personal support and more.
Eligibility Criteria
- This fund is open to young people (aged 11-25) who live in Scotland.
- This fund has been designed to support children and young people’s wellbeing, particularly for those who have experienced barriers to getting involved in the arts or creative activities. Barriers may include not having a lot of money, having a disability, having poor mental wellbeing, having English as a second language, or other barriers.
