The Exploration Co-Lab Edges of Possibility open call invites visionary innovators and creative thinkers to share ideas that challenge conventional boundaries and reimagine what’s possible for the planet and its people.The TopCashback Sustainability Fund has been created to support organisations and individuals working to make a positive impact across the Staffordshire area.
The fund aims to encourage sustainability, strengthen community initiatives and help deliver projects that bring lasting environmental and social benefits. By offering financial assistance to local groups, the scheme seeks to inspire creative and practical solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future for Staffordshire.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available to help bring projects to life, with the potential for higher awards at the discretion of the advisers. Funding decisions will take into account the scale, ambition and expected outcomes of each project, ensuring that awards are appropriate to the level of work being undertaken. The fund is open to a wide range of applicants who can demonstrate how their activities will make a meaningful contribution to the community and the local environment.
The grant can be used to cover a variety of eligible costs, offering valuable flexibility to applicants. Support may be provided for core organisational expenses, the purchase of equipment, capital improvements, staff or volunteer training, one-off event costs and general project delivery costs. This broad range of eligible uses is intended to give applicants the freedom to design projects that best meet local needs and priorities.
Certain types of costs, however, are not eligible for support. The fund will not provide financial assistance for projects that promote a specific religion, although applications from faith-based organisations are welcome if their services are inclusive and open to everyone. Funding cannot be used for political campaigning or activities linked to any political party, nor can it support statutory services or responsibilities. Retrospective funding, where costs have already been incurred or projects have already taken place, is also excluded.
