Deadline: 14-Sep-2025
The National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) or NIA, in collaboration with the Maejo Agri-Food Innovation District (MAID), has launched business incubation and sandbox programs to support agricultural and food technology entrepreneurs in Thailand.
The focus is on business incubation activities (Incubation Program) and business matching and usability testing activities (Sandbox Program) under the Thailand Innovation Hub Development Project.
The Business Incubation Program invites legal entities registered in Thailand with at least 51 percent Thai shareholders who are developing an innovative product or service prototype. The objective is to help turn ideas into businesses that solve agricultural and food sector problems and drive growth. Applicants are required to send company details and a pitch deck showing their agricultural and food innovation business ideas by September 14, 2025.
The Sandbox Program is designed for juristic persons registered in Thailand with no less than 51 percent Thai shareholders who already have products or services ready for the market. The program emphasizes working with real customers to test usability for market expansion, supported by business and technology experts who provide tailored guidance. Interested companies must submit their details and a pitch deck highlighting their products or services by September 14, 2025.
The program timeline begins with application submissions until September 14, 2025, followed by participant selection from September 15 to 30, 2025. From October 2025 to January 2026, participants will engage in incubation activities and business matching. The journey culminates in February 2026 with an exhibition and presentation during Demo Day.
Applications are free of charge, providing an open opportunity for startups, SMEs, and SEs in Thailand’s AgTech and FoodTech ecosystem to gain mentorship, market exposure, and growth opportunities.
