Why Brazil?
- The Brazilian economy recorded a strong growth of 4.6% in 2021 after the pandemic recession, with 8 times more investments than in 2018. And in a country where more than 25% of the GDP is related to agribusiness, the aim for technologies that support and enable sustainable food systems is latent. Besides that, 67% of Brazilians reduced their meat consumption in 2022, but 53% still can’t find alternatives to animal meat in supermarkets.
- They believe that the Future of Food is now! And they want to foster business and research collaboration between Switzerland and Brazil to bring innovative solutions from the seed to the plate.
- In this Bootcamp, the Swiss startups will experience a study tour through the Brazilian FoodTech ecosystem to exchange with mentors and experts, hear the potential customers and validate their solutions in the Brazilian market, and design a strategy for their internationalization to Brazil.
Requirements
- You are a Swiss startup;
- You have a validated prototype or product;
- You have Brazil in the business strategy or are interested in validating the business possibilities in the Brazilian market.
