Deadline: 27-Oct-2025
The PPL Momentum Music Fund is designed to empower emerging artists and bands in the UK who are ready to make a significant leap in their careers.
The PPL Momentum Music Fund provides grants of £5,000 to £15,000 to support UK-based artists and bands who are at a crucial stage in their careers, helping them progress professionally and creatively over the next two years. The fund supports activities such as recording, touring (UK only), and marketing, with an average grant of around £10,000.
Eligible expenses include recording costs (albums, EPs, singles, producer fees, studio hire, etc.), touring costs (travel, accommodation, musician fees, production design, etc.), and marketing activities (PR, digital campaigns, videos, merchandise). Up to 20% of the budget may cover equipment or software purchases.
The fund does not support international touring, vehicle purchases, capital projects, studio construction, or expenses already covered by existing label or management deals. Applicants must disclose current deals and explain why these costs cannot be met by them.
Applications can be made directly by artists or through authorised representatives, including managers, labels, publishers, booking agents, PRs, lawyers, or trusted advisors. However, grants are awarded to the music creator, and funds must be used solely for their direct benefit.
The fund prioritises projects that enhance artistic and professional growth within the UK. In rare cases, international recording may be supported if strongly justified. Artists in Northern Ireland may also include live dates in the Republic of Ireland.
The deadline for applications is 27 October 2025.
