Deadline: 28-Aug-2025
The Honig Foundation has launched its 2025 Community Arts & Culture Accessibility Grant Round, inviting eligible organisations to apply for funding aimed at improving access to cultural experiences for disadvantaged individuals and families. The focus is on providing arts, performance, heritage, and creative expression opportunities in accessible and inclusive ways that enrich lives, nurture the soul, and broaden horizons.
This grant supports small to medium-sized, for-purpose organisations or established groups with innovative initiatives designed to break down barriers to participation in arts, heritage, and culture. Projects must be achievable within 12 months, tackle specific accessibility challenges, and deliver measurable outcomes. Eligible beneficiaries include Australians with disabilities and older Australians, with an emphasis on inclusivity, collaboration, and sustainability.
Up to 20 organisations will be invited to submit full proposals, with up to seven one-off grants of up to $10,000 awarded. Priority is given to projects demonstrating innovation, a strong community focus, and potential for lasting impact. Applicants must provide a co-contribution, either financial or in-kind, and ensure their proposals align with the foundation’s values of equity, innovation, collaboration, integrity, and sustainability.
The application process begins with an initial Expression of Interest (EOI), limited to the first 100 submissions. The EOI closes on August 28, 2025, or once the cap is reached. Shortlisted applicants will have until October 16, 2025, to submit full proposals.
