Deadline: 15-Oct-21
The Juneau Community Foundation is pleased to announce the Individual Artist Award.
Juneau has long supported, created, and maintained a high degree of artistic diversity, ingenuity, and expression. With this in mind, in 2020, the Foundation launched a new hometown grant program for artists, the Individual Artist Awards and is building an Arts Vibrancy Endowment to sustain accessible arts opportunities for the community for generations to come.
All art forms and idioms including, but not limited to, visual arts, dance, music, fabric arts, photography, theater, and literary arts are eligible for these awards.
Each of the following awardees met the goal of the Individual Artist Award – to provide funds to assist with a specific, short-term project that has clear benefits to the artist and the development of their work.
Award Details
- During the building phase of their Arts Vibrancy Endowment, the maximum award amount is $2,500.
- Total funds available for the 2021 Individual Artists Awards grant round is $10,000.
