The Manitoba Arts Council is now seeking applications for its Recognize – Prizes Program.
The Manitoba Arts Award of Distinction recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of a Manitoban artist, Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, or arts/cultural professional through an annual prize.
Prize
- Prize amount: $ 30,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Professional artists
- Indigenous Knowledge Keepers
- Arts/cultural professionals
Note: All nominated candidates must have a permanent physical address in Manitoba. Candidates must have lived in Manitoba for at least one full year immediately preceding application to the Manitoba Arts Council. Nominators do not need to be Manitoba residents.
Candidates may only receive this prize once.
