The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to participate in the Reel Contest on The Vikaspedia User Journey: What’s Your Story?
Vikaspedia is an initiative of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) that facilitates access and sharing of multilingual and multi-sectoral citizen-centric digital information to empower citizens and catalyze digital transformation. They invite citizens to share their story of how they used Vikaspedia in their transformational journey towards empowerment.
Participants must submit the link of their reel on the MyGov portal (The link of the reel should have a public view access on Google Drive). Format: Short user experience Reel (up to 90 seconds). Language: English, Hindi, or any regional language (captions recommended). Originality: Must be original reels/videos, not used on any other platform. File Type: MP4, portrait mode (9:16), high resolution. Evaluation criteria- Should meet the submission guidelines. Originality and clarity in capturing user benefits of Vikaspedia. Creativity and presentation skills. Innovation and relevance to the theme “The Vikaspedia User Journey: What’s Your Story?” Gratification: Each month, Top 2 entries will be rewarded with ₹1,000/- each. Winning reels will be featured on the official social media handles of Vikaspedia and C-DAC. The competition is open to all Indian citizens.
The competition highlights the theme “The Vikaspedia User Journey: What’s Your Story?” with the objective of encouraging individuals to express how Vikaspedia has benefitted them in a format that is dynamic, accessible, and relatable. Participants are required to adhere strictly to the given submission guidelines to ensure uniformity and fairness in the evaluation process.
By emphasizing originality, creativity, and clarity, the competition aims to foster user-driven storytelling that resonates with a wider audience. The use of short reels ensures a compact yet impactful presentation, encouraging both innovation and inclusivity, as entries are welcomed in multiple languages.
Winners will not only receive a cash prize but will also gain visibility on the official platforms of Vikaspedia and C-DAC, making this an exciting opportunity for participants to showcase their creative skills while contributing to a growing digital knowledge-sharing community.
