The Intercontinental Bienal invites artists of any nationality to submit their projects for a global exhibition and competition taking place from February 20 to February 28, 2026, in Panama, aiming to showcase outstanding visual expressions across continents and provide international recognition through a selection process.
Participants: Artists of any nationality participate in the competition and exhibition. Participants: Intercontinental Biennial artists with new projects. Projects from any country in the world can participate. Studios, companies, as well as independent professionals may participate. If the work infringes plagiarism or intellectual property rights, the sender will be solely responsible. Participants authorize the organization to release the images of the project in the media and digital platforms deemed appropriate, respecting at all times the copyright. All projects received will enter a selection process. The projects selected in the process will be certified and recognized by the Organizing Committee. The selected projects will participate in the Intercontinental Biennial exhibition whose presentations and exhibitions include countries from America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. The selection committee will be made up of international professionals with recognized professional experience in the sector. Any objection provided for or not in the bases will be resolved by the Biennial definitively and without appeal. The subject and technique are free, and can be: traditional, digital or mixed. Describe each illustration in a PDF or Word file. The participant decides how many illustrations to present. A maximum of three illustrations can be submitted. Name each file of your submitted illustration as follows: Country of origin, followed by the name of the illustration and your first and last name. You can submit a maximum of three illustrations. Maximum size of 90 wide x 120 long or 120 wide x 90 long. Therefore, you can also submit illustrations in much smaller sizes than those indicated.
Artists from around the world are invited to participate in this prestigious event, which has previously presented works in Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil. The Biennale provides a platform for visual artists to present their creations to a diverse, international audience, crossing continents with exhibitions in multiple regions including America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
All projects will undergo a careful selection process conducted by a committee of international professionals with recognized experience. Selected artists will receive certification and recognition from the Organizing Committee, and their work will be showcased in the Intercontinental Bienal exhibition.
Artists can submit projects in any subject or technique, including traditional, digital, or mixed media. Each participant may submit up to three illustrations, accompanied by a description document in PDF or Word format. File names must follow the specified format, including the country of origin, illustration title, and the artist’s first and last name. Image sizes should not exceed 90 x 120 cm, but smaller sizes are acceptable.
To apply, participants must complete the application form by providing their personal information, project description, and project images. If the total size of the files exceeds 8MB, submissions can be sent through cloud-based platforms such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or WeTransfer, and a notification must be sent to the official email address. Once received, applicants will receive confirmation via email.
The exhibition will be held from February 20 to February 28, 2026, offering artists an opportunity to display their work to an international audience and gain global exposure.
