Applications are now open for the American Chamber of Commerce Ireland’s (AmCham) 2023 US-Ireland Business Awards to recognize inspiring individuals, teams and organisations who have strengthened the US-Ireland business, trade and investment relationship in areas including business development, education, research and innovation, and arts and culture and who are committed to sustainable business, inclusion and giving back to the community.
AmCham believes that the strength of the transatlantic relationship, which is currently at its highest level ever, is crucial to Ireland’s continued economic success and its position as a global leader in research, development and innovation, talent development and attraction, and ESG.
Categories
AmCham will honour individuals, teams, and organisations, who are working to continue to strengthen this relationship under three categories as part of these Awards. These categories are:

Global Leadership Award:
- This Award is presented to an individual who has had a significant, positive impact on US-Ireland business relations. The recipient is recognised as someone who is committed to inclusion and gender equality and the impact honoured by the Award is one that is independently and verifiably recognised – beyond the individual’s own organisation.
- The recipient could come from a wide range of spheres including but not limited to – business, education, research, public sector, cultural.

Global Community Award:
- This Award is presented to a team/organisation for a project that has had a significant positive, global or international impact on markets or society. This impact could be in areas including but not limited to Research, development and innovation , Talent development , Advanced manufacturing/industry 4.0-5.0 , Digitisation/Artificial intelligence , Sustainability, Supply chain innovation.
- The team/orgainsation must be nominated by someone on the team/in the orgainsation who has been involved in the nominated project.
- The impact of the project is independently recognised/measured and has a transatlantic, international or global impact.

Global Impact Award:
- This Award is presented to an individual, team or organisation including US MNCs that has had a positive societal/community impact in an area that is aligned with the values of AmCham and their membership. Areas for recognition include – Advancing gender equality, Championing inclusion, Reducing social discrimination/disadvantage, Enabling education attainment.
- The impact of the individual, team or organisation is independently recognised/measured and has a transatlantic, international or global impact.

- This award is open to any individual who has had a significant positive impact on US-Ireland business relations.

Global Impact Award

This Award is open to teams and organisations based on the island of Ireland. This could include:
- The Irish operations of a US headquartered and controlled multinational company MNC
- Higher Education Institutions (HEI), Research Centres or institutes based on the island of Ireland with links to the US corporate sector and
- Irish (island of Ireland) Micro Enterprises or SMEs with links to the US corporate sector demonstrating transformative innovation in sustainability.

- The NGO sector,
- Charitable organisations,
- Public sector,
- The Irish operations of a US headquartered and controlled multinational company MNC
- Higher Education Institutions (HEI), Research Centres or institutes based on the island of Ireland with links to the US corporate sector
- Irish (island of Ireland) Micro Enterprises or SMEs with links to the US corporate sector demonstrating transformative innovation in sustainability.
