The Flame Tree Initiative is pleased to launch a Call for Applications for Bonding Energy to Agriculture Development Entrepreneurship Lab (DELab) to assist entrepreneurs, both those who want to supply energy and those who can use it for agriculture, to understand the opportunities of collaboration.
An intensive program that enhances the interdependence of energy and agriculture for emerging social entrepreneurs.
Goal
- Train aspiring entrepreneurs in both practical business skills and social impact measurement, so they can launch, sustain, and scale businesses that are good for their communities.
What is the DELAB Anyway?
- Flame Tree Initiative’s signature Development Entrepreneur Lab – DELab for short – is a six-day program focused on ideation and early-stage startup entrepreneurs.
- They seek aspiring entrepreneurs who are focused on generating positive social, economic, and environmental impacts through a self-sustaining, profitable business.
Requirements
- Have a focused business idea or an existing business that demonstrates a relationship between energy and agriculture
- Be able to identify the social, economic, or environmental problems their business can solve
