If yes, then apply for ‘Business Ideas for Development’ encourages social entrepreneurship in India and thus provides support for your project.
Funding Information
- Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM) finances services up to EUR 5,000 that are essential to start your business.
- Provided that you have a convincing business idea that you plan to realise within the next 12 months and that you have the necessary start-up capital.
CIM Offers
- Support and coaching in Germany
- Assistance in developing your business plan and in doing your market research in India
- Support in India delivered by on-site staff and an established start-up incubator for social entrepreneurs
- Financing of travel costs in Germany and to India
- Help in finding investors and other useful business contacts
Eligibility Criteria
- You must meet the following criteria:
- You originally come from India.
- You currently reside in Germany.
- At the time of your application, you already have a precise social business idea for India that you intend to implement in the next 12 months.
- At the time of your selection by Business Ideas for Development, your business has not yet been officially established. This means that it has not yet been authenticated by a notary or registered with the authorities
