Business France is organizing in 2022, under the aegis of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Recovery, the Ministry for Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities and in partnership with the States of France, the 4th edition of the Choose France “Special Talent” Awards.
The Choose France 2022 Awards reward foreign investors who, through their commitments and testimonials for France and its territories, contribute to the international attractiveness of France and its economic influence. By illustrating, through the highlighting of concrete examples, the effectiveness of the partnership between Business France and the actors of economic development in the territories, the Awards promote support for the projects of foreign investors who invest in a talent management policy.
The announcement of the winners of the Prizes will take place on November 15, 2022. The Organizer will decide on the format of the meeting according to the rules imposed by the health context and will inform the candidates, members of the jury and invited persons.
Only the winners of a prize are authorized to use the name and logo of the Choose France 2022 Prizes in the forms and conditions provided by the Organizer, on all institutional, commercial and promotional documentation concerning the winning Company. This authorization is granted for a limited period of one (1) year from the Award Ceremony.
Categories
Subject to a sufficient number of applications, the Organizer will award the following Prizes to foreign companies investing in France:
- Ecological transition
- Competitiveness & Innovation
- Cohesion & Solidarity
For the 2022 Awards, all companies that have implemented a talent management policy in recent years as well as those that have recently initiated it will be able to compete. In some cases, the jury may also consider actions being implemented or in the launch phase.
Promotion of Candidates and Winners
- Companies may attach “pitch” videos to the application file, the format of which will be specified by the Organiser.
- The videos of all the candidates, as well as their files, will be highlighted on the networks of the Organizer and the partners.
- The winners will be rewarded with special prizes and will be valued in the manner decided by the Organiser. Thus, the winners may use the name “Prix Choose France”; a special banner will be designed for the websites / LinkedIn pages of the winning companies. Subject to confirmation, a working breakfast may be organized with the ministers and/or the Regions and/or the members of the Jury, and interviews with the winners by the national or regional press.
- The right to use and reproduce the videos will belong to the Organizer. Candidates may contribute to the sharing of videos on their personal and professional accounts, with mandatory reference to the Organizer and respecting the full name of the Prizes and the official hashtags provided by the Organizer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Foreign company: legal person governed by foreign law which has demonstrated its interest in France by opening a subsidiary there.
- Subsidiary: legal person, registered in the Trade and Companies Register, more than half of whose capital is held by the parent company abroad and which is subject to French legal, social and tax rules
- Foreign investor: legal person having placed capital from abroad in France, leading to the creation of employment and revenue for France
- Candidate: a foreign company that has submitted an application for the Choose France Awards
