Any start-up in a pre-seed, seed and post-seed stage can apply for a chance to pitch their business to venture capitalists, join a network of like-minded entrepreneurs and win a prize of £3000 through the ł.pitch Start-up Challenge.
The final of the competition is taking place in London on 4th March during the LSE Polish Economic Forum 2023. The jury will include Mateusz Zawistowski from ff Venture Capital, Aleksander Dobrzyniecki from Black Pearls VC and Rafał Celej from Kondracki Celej.
Eligibility Criteria
- Entry is only open to startups that are based in Poland or those in which at least one of the cofounders is a Polish citizen.
- Only startups that are within the ‘disruptive technology’ definition are able to participate in the contest.
- Only startups in pre-seed and seed funding stage are eligible to apply
General Rules
- All the information supplied to them in your application and presentation is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The term ‘information supplied’ refers to your startup or company.
- You hereby confirm that you are the founder or co-founder of your startup or company.
- By entering the contest you agree to act in good faith, with integrity and respect throughout the whole duration of ł.pitch and the 2023 Polish Economic Forum.
- ł.pitch Startup Competition is organised by the LSE SU Polish Business Society. The official language of the competition is English.
Final Criteria
- Three teams will be selected to participate in the final stage of the contest. The final stage of ł.pitch will take place in London at the 2023 Polish Economic Forum on March 4th, 2023. Only two representatives of the team that progressed to the final stage will be provided with tickets to enter the conference. If you wish to bring more members, it is compulsory that you buy separate tickets for them. It is mandatory to attend and present your idea at this event to be considered for the final prize.
- You will be required to deliver a maximum 5-minute presentation of your idea. The maximum number of people presenting is two. It is compulsory to provide the LSE SU Polish Business Society with slides (in English) that will be displayed while presenting your idea.
- During your presentation you will be assessed by the panel of jurors. The jury at their own discretion will choose the winners and award any prizes.
- Should any prizes be awarded by individual jury members it is compulsory that you consent to any terms and conditions before receiving the prize.
