Open Call for 500 Global Accelerator Taiwan with TTA 2022

Applications are now open for 500 Global Accelerator Taiwan with Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA) 2022, an 8-week program designed to grow early-stage tech startups in Taiwan and across the world through world-class programming, tailored mentorship and curated networking events.

500 Global’s mission is to uplift people and economies through entrepreneurship, and they invite startups in Taiwan and across the globe to join their community of founders, mentors, and partners in this journey.

500 Global Accelerator Taiwan with TTA 2022 is an 8-week program that focuses on business foundations, startup growth, and scaling globally. 500 Global has run more than 80 growth and accelerator programs for over 3,000 startups worldwide.

Phases
  • PHASE 1 (2 WEEKS)
    • Foundations of growth: Foundational programming to cover identifying product market fit, growth fundamentals, developing ideal customer profiles, and creating an effective one- liner.
  • PHASE 2 (4 WEEKS)
    • Launch and Experimentation: Deep-dive into growth experiments, customer interviews, business opportunities in Southeast Asia and/or Japan, and weekly 1:1 meetings with 500 Global’s expert mentors.
  • PHASE 3 (2 WEEKS)
    • Fundraising and Presentation: Training Learn about the best practices for capital attraction, and develop an effective presentation for partners and industry stakeholders in the region at the Demo Day.
  • POST-PROGRAM PHASE (3 WEEKS)
    • Presentation Preparation & Demo Day: Startups will work with the mentors on preparing their presentations to a global audience of industry stakeholders, corporates, and partners.

  • Tailored Mentorship and Practical Curriculum: mentorship and guidance from experienced mentors who’ve helped accelerate startups around the world by providing actionable feedback on go-to-market strategies, sales and marketing, growth experiments, and more.
  • Best Practices for Business Development and Investor Management: Improve your understanding of what investors and potential clients look for, and craft a killer presentation to attract capital and customers. Opportunity to get direct feedback from 500 Global’s Investment team which may help you understand how to shape your fundraising strategy
  • Build meaningful relationships within the startup ecosystem: Participate in curated social events and connect with startup founders, venture capital industry stakeholders, corporates from various industries in Taiwan a nd across the globe.

Duration: 8 weeks with a full-time commitment, and 2 weeks post-program period for Demo Day preparation.

Eligibility Criteria
  • They invite startups in Taiwan and across the globe to join the community of founders, mentors, and partners in this journey.
  • They looking for startups that meet the following criteria:
    • Are tech-focused or tech-enabled
    • Are at the pre-seed or seed stages with a functional prototype with early traction
    • Are based in Taiwan with the potential to address global markets or are based overseas with plans to expand into Taiwan
