Nominations are now open for the 2022 Social Impact Award.
Why?
It’s worth submitting! The 10 finalist projects in 2022 will receive:
- Professional support through the incubation program of the Social Impact Award Germany from July to September
- Production of a short project video
- Support in four areas worth over €20,000:
- Priorities: Mentoring, access to the “Experts for Change” pool of experts and their own incubation platform take your project to the next level.
- Cohort: Learning from each other and exchanging experiences is an essential part of the incubation, especially with two seminars.
- Outreach: All teams take part in global community voting and can thus generate momentum for their project.
- Add-Ons: Opportunity to become a member of an Impact Hub in Germany.
- From 10 finalists, 5 winning projects for SIA 2022 will be chosen. The projects can win:
- 4 Jury Awards: €3.000
- 1 Community Award: €5.000
- Free ticket for their SIA Summit with all winning projects from all other SIA countries (participation is requested, at least 1 participant per team).

Conditions of Participation
Participation in the Social Impact Award 2022 is subject to the following conditions:
- All core team members must have been born between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 2007;
- The applicant(s) has/have neither taken part in the SIA incubation nor won the SIA with the same idea in previous years;
- Ideas submitted in previous years, with the exception of previous finalists or winning projects, can be submitted again in 2022;
- Individuals/teams can apply with new ideas even if they have been selected as finalists or winners in previous years;
- The project was not legally established before January 1, 2021;
- The idea has not received formalized monetary support from an external party in excess of €10,000 (e.g. angel investment, grants, prize money, etc.) prior to the submission date.
- Only applications that are complete and submitted via their website by 16 May 2022 at 18:00 CET will be considered;
- All formal criteria of the submission platform must be met for the project to be evaluated.
