Conecta by Tigo Business Awards in partnership with Koga is an entrepreneurship contest co-organized by Telefónica Celular del Paraguay SAE (Tigo), and KOGA SA (Koga), which seeks to promote and reward the digital transformation of SMEs and businesses that can continue contributing to the development and economic reactivation through innovation in Paraguay and the world.
Objectives
- Promote the digitization of enterprises and SMEs that can accelerate the process economic reactivation of the country.
- Train and train entrepreneurs to propose successful solutions to the current crisis.
- Promote new sustainable and triple impact business models; economic, social and environmental.
- Promote development through effective innovation and digital transformation of startups in Paraguay.
Award Information
- Each of the 2 ventures selected as winners will be awarded with:
- 5,000 USD in cash.
- Incubation in Koga for 5 months.
- Tigo Business Services for SMEs at no cost for 6 months.
- Prizes valued at USD 8,000 per team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each enterprise that participates in the contest must be located within one of these categories: a) Entrepreneurship with more than 6 months in the market, b) New unit of business in an existing venture.
- The Enterprise must be operating in Paraguay, although it may have among its objectives expansion to other countries.
- The participating teams must be made up of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members. To the Minus the project leader must reside permanently in Paraguay and be older of 18 years.
- The Digital Transformation of the enterprise must incorporate digital technology in its various applications (mobile applications, web platforms, software, service robotics, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, telemedicine, etc.) as part of its value proposition (can be included in manufacturing, distribution, marketing and / or sale processes goods and services).
- The Digital Transformation must have been implemented in the last 6 months or projected to be implemented in the next 6 months.
