Nominations are now open for 4th edition of the “Women Transforming India Awards”.
The Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) is a Government of India initiative by NITI Aayog to promote and support aspiring as well as established women entrepreneurs in India, assist and handhold them in their journey from starting to scaling up and expanding their ventures.
The WEP is a first of its kind, unified access portal which brings together women from different parts of India to realize their entrepreneurial aspirations.
As an enabling platform, WEP is built on three pillars- Iccha Shakti, Gyaan Shakti & Karma Shakti:
- Iccha Shakti represents motivating aspiring entrepreneurs to start their business
- Gyaan Shakti represents providing knowledge and ecosystem support to women entrepreneurs to help them foster entrepreneurship
- Karma Shakti represents providing hands-on support to entrepreneurs in setting-up and scaling up businesses

Benefits
- If applicants get selected for WTI Awards 2019, applicants will get featured on the Women Entrepreneurship Platform.
- If Applicants get selected for WTI Awards 2019, applicants will be required to travel to New Delhi for the felicitation event, tentatively to be held in the first or second week of December.
Eligibility Criteria
- WTI Awards is open to all women creating an impact in India.
- WTI accepts applications from anyone who identifies themselves as a woman.
