Young Innovators in collaboration with Special Education Unit, Innovation Centre, Youth Friendly Resources Centre, African Youth Association of NGOs, Multi-Education Service Trust and LIFYEAD Africa is happy to announce the 2017 Young Innovators International Conference. This conference will be the largest gathering of youths, Entrepreneurs, Innovators and students across Africa, serving as a platform to support, unite and re-focus activities towards youth innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship and transformation of the African nations.
Young Innovators Regional Forum is a south-east regional youth forum established to increase youths and students involvement in the promotion of innovative and creative ideas. Candidates from around the South East Region will meet to sharpen their innovative skills to tackle global issues.
Their mission and vision is to empower the youths to be more productive, more creative, more industrious, more focused and more determined to succeed while in the university or after school.
Objectives
- To train, empower and build future young innovators and entrepreneurs.
- To give moral and academic support to the youth through empowerment programmes.
- To ensure good leadership, peace and the ability to have focus on science and technology.
- To empowers young people to build a vision for their future.
- To promote a culture of innovation, science and entrepreneurship as a viable career option..
Eligibility Criteria
- Participants must be students, innovators, entrepreneurs, residents from all over the Africa
- Innovators and entrepreneur from Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Universities.
- Youth between 18 to 35 years old.
- Participants are expected to presents their ID for identification.
- Students Association/Organization within the nation’s institutions campuses are eligible to participate.
- Participants are expected to complete online application for participation.
- Registration is free with evidence of invitation card at the entrance.
