Are you ready to join the SEASON Two of the French South African Tech Labs? Then apply for the programme, an incubator and accelerator for French and South African tech start-ups, based on the partnership between Seda (Small Enterprise Development Agency) and Methys.
The FSAT Labs program is dedicated to digital innovation. The primary goal of FSAT Labs is to transform ideas and projects into sustainable businesses, able to grow internationally from their incubation (6 months) to their acceleration (up to 24 months). The FSAT incubation program is free.
Inspired by Lean Startup and Design Thinking approaches, FSAT support each incubated project with an agile team that delivers customised services to streamline South African market entry, rapid expansion and operational success.
The selected startups will participate in a Pitch Competition that will take place at the FSAT in Century City on the week starting Monday 4th June. Out of these startups, only the three winners of the Pitch Competition will embark in an incredible adventure here at FSAT LABs !

The incubated projects of the FSAT Labs adress 5 key focus areas reflecting the specialisation fields of its founding members :
- SMART city
- SMART home
- SMART commerce
- SMART media
- SMART education.
Programme Information
The program is into 2 phases:
- A 6 month incubation phase for selected projects, fully sponsored by SEDA and METHYS
- An acceleration phase, up to 24 months, offered for successfully incubated start-ups
Funding Information
- FSAT Labs invests from R300 000 to R500 000 in startup !
Eligibility Criteria
- FSAT Labs program is inviting applications from entrepreneurs with a special focus on black entrepreneurship and connect them to the international French Tech ecosystem.
