Centre for Civic Education (CCE) has announced the competition for the best investigative article in the field of human rights. Its aim is to contribute to strengthening of the role of media in promotion of human rights, democratic reforms and development of anti-discrimination culture, through active research and media reporting on cases of violations of human rights and discrimination of citizens.
Grant Information
The Evaluation Commission will select three best works to be awarded cash prizes in the following gross amounts:
- 1st: 1.000 EUR
- 2nd: 600 EUR
- 3rd: 400 EUR
Criteria
- The competition is open to journalists from all print media, agencies and web portals registered in Montenegro.
- Articles must be published during 2017 and 2018.
- Authors can compete with up to three articles, whether they apply independently or that they are nominated by their media, journalists’ associations or jury.
How to Apply
- To apply for the competition, following documentation must be submitted in electronic form:
- copy of the published article, with clear indication when and where it was publicised;
- name and surname of the author, contact telephone and e-mail;
- author’s permission to apply for the competition, unless s/ he does so personally.
- Applications are sent via email at the address given on the website with the note “Application for the best investigative article in the field of human rights”.
