The Goethe-Institut Kigali is seeking project proposals from young independent artists, who are working in Rwanda and looking for support for a specific project.
Artists of any discipline are welcome to propose a project –from contemporary dance, theatre, literature, performance, and music or digital arts.
Two times per year Goethe-Institut Kigali invites young,local artists to submit their proposals for innovative, specific and small scale projects. At the end of each application period an independent jury will select projects, which get support by Goethe-Institut Kigali.
Funding Information
The chosen projects will be supported with a sum between 300.000RWF-1.000.000RWF as well as guidance and organizational support during the project.
Criteria
- Group of artists, not an individual artist
- Innovation: the art work has not been presented elsewhere and is not covered
- Small scale project
- Local artists
- Cultural value of the project
- Specific project
- Sustainability of the project

- Aims of the project
- Budget plan
- Time plan
- If involved, confirmation letter of other partners
- CV of group members
- Copy of ID of the project leader
