The Nuffic is seeking proposals for its MSP Tailor-Made Training (TMT) Program to provide training opportunities for Libyans who are not able to participate in the regular MSP programme due to the ongoing political conflict.
The ongoing political conflict has affected the work flow of all relevant institutions in Libya, affecting the ability to provide services in vital sectors such as water management, port control and agriculture.
The objective of the call is to increase capacity development among Libyans working for institutions responsible for water management and to develop more concrete cooperation grounds bilaterally with Libyan water management responsible institutions.
Funding Information
The maximum available budget for this call is 50.000 Euro.
Eligibility Criteria
The call is open to proposals for Libyan organisations or groups of Libyans with common training needs living and working in Libya for institutions responsible for water management.
To be eligible participants must:
- be Libyan nationals who work and reside in Libya.
- be employed individuals with common training needs, or staff members of a requesting organisation
- be in a position to implement their newly acquired skills and knowledge into their employing organisation and/or country.
- must not be employed by an organisation that has its own means of staff-development. Organisations that are considered to have their own means for staff development are for example:
- multinational corporations (e.g. Shell, Unilever, Microsoft),
- large national and/or a large commercial organisations,
- bilateral donor organisations (e.g. USAID, DFID, Danida, Sida, Dutch ministry of Foreign affairs, FinAid, AusAid, ADC, SwissAid),
- multilateral donor organisations, (e.g. a UN organization, the World Bank, the IMF, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, IADB),
- International NGO’s (e.g. Oxfam, Plan, Care);
- must have an official and valid passport;
- must have a government statement that meets the requirements of the country in which the employer is established (if applicable);
- must preferably not be over 45 years of age
