The Nuffic is seeking proposals for its MSP Regional Tailor-Made Training (TMT) Programme to provide local training opportunities for Syrian nationals who are currently unable to participate in the regular MSP II programme.
The objective of the call is to increase capacity development among Syrians by offering a tailor-made training for Syrians in Jordan, Lebanon or Turkey.
Funding Information
The maximum available budget for this call is €50,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible participants must:
- be Syrian nationals who work and reside in Jordan, Lebanon or Turkey
- be in a position to use their newly acquired skills and knowledge in their employing organisation
- not be employed directly by an organisation that has its own means of staff-development for Syrians
- preferably not be over 45 years of age
- be employed (if at-will employed a back-to-work-action-plan has to be part of the training including ideas to improve working conditions in the host country and steps to formalize the work status)
- A number of participants (approximately 30% of the total participants) can be nationals of the country where the training takes place.
- The Dutch provider:
- Is registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce and has its headquarters or a branch within the Netherlands
- Is in the lead of the MSP-TMT and directly responsible for the preparation, implementation and management of the tailor-made training course
- Is experienced and able to show that it has the capacity needed to manage an activity on the scale of the tailor-made training course for which the joint proposal is being submitted
- Is financially sound to ensure continuity throughout the tailor-made training course.
- Eligibility criteria for the TMT course:
- The training must be a group training for individuals with common training needs, or for the staff of one organisation
- A back to work action plan is one of the outcomes of the training
- The training must be aimed at the acquisition or deepening of knowledge and/or skills, MSP- TMT does not support activities such as seminar attendances and conference visits
- The subject is relevant to the needs identified within the target group
- The training preferably complements other training initiatives in the country
- Participants are in number between 6 and 20 persons
- The participants list is not checked in advance. The candidates on the list and the back-to-work-action-plans submitted with the end report will be screened randomly on the compliance with the eligibility criteria for which the Dutch institution is responsible.
