The USAID Private Financing Advisory Network-Asia (USAID PFAN-Asia) has launched two calls for proposals in Asia Region:
- Women-Led Clean Energy Businesses and Projects: The USAID Private Financing Advisory Network-Asia (USAID PFAN-Asia), the International Network on Gender and Sustainable Energy (ENERGIA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), announce a call for proposals for women entrepreneurs in clean energy.
- Smart Solutions for Adaptable Communities and Cities: The USAID Private Financing Advisory Network-Asia (USAID PFAN-Asia) is launching a call for proposal for Smart Solutions for Adaptable Communities and Cities. These solutions could be anything from apps on clean transport to pilot projects on climate-adaptable housing/buildings, water management, and waste-management.
Focus Areas
- Women-Led Clean Energy Businesses and Projects: Biomass; Biofuels; Biogas; Energy Efficiency; Hydropower; Solar;Waste-to-Energy; Hybrid (a combination of two or more technical focuses); Energy Efficiency and Clean Transport.
- Smart Solutions for Adaptable Communities and Cities: water management, climate-adaptable buildings/housing; climate-adaptable and clean transport; waste management.
Grant Information
The project seeks capital up to $50 million size range.
Eligibility Criteria
- Women-Led Clean Energy Businesses and Projects: Women entrepreneurs and organizations supporting the women entrepreneurs should be from the private sector, or be proposed as a public private partnerships, with a planned project in below mentioned countries.
- Smart Solutions for Adaptable Communities and Cities: Project developers, technology providers, innovators, and inventors should be from the private sector, or be proposed as a public private partnerships, with a planned project in below mentioned countries.
