The Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organisations (TACS) is seeking applications from CSOs and government representatives as well as members of National Council for Civil Society for its “National Conference” to discuss the most problematic issues regarding legal and fiscal obligations for CSOs and provide recommendations for further amendments of taxation laws and bylaws in order to ensure a simple, clear and long term supporting environment to the activity of CSOs.
The National Conference, Boasting towards a Better Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development in Albania, will be held in Tirana, Albania on December 13, 2016.

During the event, participants will:
- Introduce to government representatives their concerns regarding the registration tax treatment and accounting evidences
- Present ideas and proposals for further improvements in the future
- Share information and challenges
- Present to government representatives and members of the National Council for Civil Society a list of suggestions that will derive from working group preparatory meeting that will be conducted prior to the conference
Eligibility Criteria
- Representatives of Albanian non-for profit organizations (associations, foundations and centers)
- Employees of the CSOs with experience on accounting and fiscal issues
- Representatives of other forms of CSOs (Universities, research institutions, trade unions, chamber of commerce, etc.)
- Members of the National Council for Civil Society
