The Thomson Reuters Foundation is inviting journalists for its Improving Gender Reporting in Cambodia.
Journalists are invited to apply for a three-day, in-depth and practically-based course, which will help them gain a better understanding of gender issues in Cambodia and further afield, and help them better report on them.
Following the course, one-to-one mentoring support will be offered to help journalists develop and have published insightful stories.
Applicants will receive a course certificate if applicant attend the training.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only for journalists based in Cambodia.
- To apply applicant must also have at least two years professional experience as a journalist, or be a regular contributor to broadcast, print, or online media.
- Applicants must show a strong interest in gender issues and have a strong commitment to reporting on these, and of gender-balanced reporting in general.
- The course will be conducted in both English and Khmer, and applicant will need to understand and speak English fairly well.
