The UNHCR Representation in Skopje is inviting NGOs and foundations for its program entitled “Prevention and Reduction of Statelessness.”
Objectives
- To strengthen, accede or ratify the international and regional instruments
- To improve the identification of statelessness
- To strengthen the civil registration and civil status documentation
- To achieve greater reduction of statelessness
- To strengthen and develop the law and the policy
Intended Population of Concern
- stateless person
- Persons with undetermined nationality at risk of statelessness
Eligibility Criteria
- The interested NGOs registered in the country wishing to apply in reply to this Call for Expression of Interest are required to submit only a Concept Note.
- The Concept Note is primarily for the partner to express its unique advantage and added value for the Project objectives.
- The Concept Note is intended to allow the partner to:
- Articulate its objectives in undertaking the Project;
- Briefly describe the implementation approach for realizing the desired outcome of the Project;
- Demonstrate the unique advantage it brings to the partnership for realizing the desired outcome of the Project; and
- Demonstrate its complementariness to UNHCR’s capacities and resources for the Project.
