Applications open for Foundation Scotland’s ASFT Fund – UK

The Foundation Scotland is pleased to invite applications for its ASFT Fund to support organisations across Scotland.

Priorities

• Fund priorities:
  • Educational and learning projects, particularly those that support disabled children or outdoor education
  • Creative and performance arts
  • Responding to the effects of poor physical and mental health, and poverty
  • Older people
  • Increasing participation in sport

Funding Information

• Budget: the ASFT Fund has £90,000 to distribute this year
• Grant amount: up to £15,000

Eligibility Criteria

• Registered charities
• Constituted voluntary and community organisations
• Community companies e.g. companies limited by guarantee, community benefit societies or Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations’.

Ineligibility Criteria

• Requests for capital projects (i.e. building/ground works, renovations/refurbs, purchasing large capital items/equipment).
• Organisations with an annual income in the most recent annual accounts exceeding £350,000.
• They cannot fund the following:
  • Non constituted groups
  • Applications from individuals
  • General fundraising appeals or activities
  • Trips abroad (unless otherwise stated on the fund page)
  • Costs already incurred or activities which will take place before they’ve decided on an application, i.e. retrospective funding.
