Deadline: 23-Jul-2025
The Administration for Children & Families is now accepting applications for the Maternity Group Home Program. This initiative is designed to support pregnant or parenting youth between the ages of 16 and 21 who are experiencing homelessness, have run away, been forced to leave home, or lack a safe alternative living arrangement.
The program offers street-based outreach, safe and stable shelter, and comprehensive services. Support is provided for up to 18 months, or up to 21 months in certain extenuating circumstances.
The main objective is to help young people build self-sufficient and sustainable futures for themselves and their children. By promoting economic independence, the program aims to reduce long-term reliance on social services.
A total of $8,142,259 in funding is available. Award amounts range from a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $350,000.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of public and private nonprofit organizations. These include state and local governments, school districts, public housing authorities, tribal governments and organizations, and both public and private institutions of higher education.
