The Challenge is a collaborative funding initiative co-sponsored by American Student Assistance, Charter School Growth Fund, and the Walton Family Foundation.
Funding Information
- The Catalyze Challenge offers grants of up to $500,000 to design, pilot, and expand innovative solutions that support students in accessing economic opportunity through career-integrated learning.
What are they looking for?
- Center on inventive or novel approaches to creating economic opportunity through career-connected learning
- Serve students in grades 6 to 14
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of how the solution serves at least one historically underserved community
Eligibility Criteria
- Schools, organizations, and entrepreneurs across the U.S. with innovative solutions targeting grades 6-14.
- They believe that every student deserves access to a high quality, career-relevant education.
- The Catalyze Challenge seeks ideas from organizations and partnerships supporting historically underserved communities, including:
- Schools and Educators
- Employers
- Government Agencies
- Entrepreneurs
- Community Members
- Organizations Representing Workers and Employers
