Deadline: 1-Sep-25
The Halton Foundation is now accepting applications for its grant program.
This opportunity is designed to support innovative initiatives that improve human wellbeing in indoor environments through research or practical solutions.
In the past, the Foundation has funded a variety of projects, including initiatives to help children with asthma, the Himalayas Stove Project, and university-led research into indoor environmental quality.
These examples reflect the Foundation’s commitment to enhancing life in indoor settings where people spend much of their time.
The grants offered by the Foundation come in different forms.
These include one-time grants for specific short-term projects, multi-year grants that may extend up to three years, and start-up program grants intended to help launch new initiatives aligned with their mission.
Each grant awarded under this program will not exceed $30,000 per year. Organizations should plan their proposals accordingly and ensure budgets reflect this limit.
To be eligible, applicants must be non-profit organizations that focus on research or the development of solutions aimed at improving indoor environmental quality and overall human wellbeing.
It is important to note that only 10% of the total project costs can be allocated to overhead and administrative expenses. This policy is strictly enforced and non-negotiable for all successful applicants.
