Submissions are open for the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) WA Grants Program, aimed at supporting initiatives that enhance outcomes for children. The program funds projects aligned with the Preschool Reform Agreement (PRA) to strengthen early learning, development, and school readiness for children aged 3 to 4 in approved ECEC services.
Grants range from $20,000 to $200,000 and support activities such as staff professional development, temporary Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) salaries, recruitment and retention of ECTs, transport for children, equipment and venue hire, resource materials, minor admin costs, and communication efforts.
Projects must not include ongoing operational costs, travel outside WA, ongoing ECT salaries, duplicate services, school-funded activities, land or construction purchases, gifts, or retrospective expenses.
Eligible applicants must be Education and Care services based in Western Australia, approved under the National Law, with an ABN, GST registration, and a valid ECEC Service Approval Number. Entities not meeting these criteria are ineligible.
