Deadline: 31-Dec-2025
The Oracle Health Foundation is now accepting applications for its Pediatric Grant program, which helps children access the healthcare they need. The foundation works to support children and families within the healthcare system by connecting them to care providers and necessary resources.
Pediatric grants can go up to $17,000 for clinical and equipment-related requests, with an average award of $2,500. For travel and lodging, grants are capped at $1,000. Only one request can be made per child every 12 months, with a maximum of three grants awarded during a child’s lifetime.
These grants may be used for clinical services, medical equipment, or travel and lodging costs tied to healthcare. Eligible lodging expenses include stays related to a child’s care, and transportation-related costs such as gas and parking. Clinical and equipment costs covered include procedures, medication, therapy, evaluations, service dogs, wheelchairs, assistive technology, prostheses, and hearing aids.
Some expenses are not eligible for funding. Ineligible travel expenses include vehicle repairs and travel outside North America. Ineligible clinical costs include alternative or experimental treatments, debt reduction, past bills, copays, research funding, therapy dogs, and home modifications.
Applicants must be 21 years old or younger. Exceptions may be made for those aged 22 to 25 receiving pediatric care. To qualify financially, a family’s annual income must be under $64,000 for a family of two, increasing by $16,500 for each additional member. Foster families are not required to submit income documentation. Out-of-pocket medical costs for the child over the past year can be deducted from the income calculation.
The application requires a letter from a doctor on official letterhead that explains the child’s diagnosis, medical necessity for the request, and any relevant information. For travel assistance, the letter must also include the expected treatment dates and duration. Notes from patient portals, prescriptions, and IEPs are not accepted in place of the doctor’s letter.
Applicants must also submit income documentation. U.S. citizens must provide the first page of their most recent federal tax return. If taxes haven’t been filed, three months of bank statements or a letter from an employer is required, with the bank statement summary pages included.
