Deadline: 30-Oct-2025
Applications are now open for grants from The Borrow Foundation to support implementation research, capacity building, and reducing inequalities in child oral health.
Following the adoption of key WHO policies on oral health in 2021, 2022, and 2023, there is renewed momentum for global oral health, with a focus on prevention and tackling inequities. The Foundation’s strategy for 2025–2030 aligns closely with the WHO Global Oral Health Action Plan, which outlines six strategic objectives and evidence-based actions adaptable to national contexts.
This call invites proposals for implementation research to guide the development of policies and strategies that improve child oral health, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Projects should help translate evidence into practice, support policy and action plan creation, develop methods for implementation, and test and evaluate plans.
Funding is also available for research aimed at reducing inequalities in child oral health within or between countries, as well as capacity building in dental public health in LMICs.
