Deadline: 31-Aug-2025
The World Food Programme (WFP) is inviting expressions of interest for its School Feeding Programme in Bangladesh. This initiative focuses on supporting education, food security, and nutrition through targeted interventions in schools.
Key areas of specialization include providing school meals, delivering food assistance, and improving nutrition, particularly through infant and young child feeding. The program is centered in the Chittagong region.
The School Feeding Programme aligns with several strategic outcomes. These include helping crisis-affected populations meet essential needs, supporting national institutions in addressing the nutrition needs of women, children, and vulnerable groups, and building community resilience to shocks and natural disasters. The initiative also aims to enhance coordination and services for crisis-affected populations.
To be eligible, organizations must be legally registered in Bangladesh as non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political entities. They should have professional experience in school feeding or education programs, a proven track record in the region or relevant activities, and the capacity to manage projects and finances in line with WFP’s reporting standards.
