Deadline: 10-Aug-2025
The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has issued a call for proposals to identify under-vaccinated children in the Obock Region of Djibouti. The initiative focuses on the health sector, specifically targeting immunization efforts in the region.
The project aims to ensure all villages and neighborhoods in Obock are linked to a health facility that provides vaccination services through fixed, advanced fixed, or mobile strategies. A nominal list of villages, each with updated quarterly population data, should be available for each health structure.
It is also expected that all villages establish functional community structures to support the organization and delivery of general healthcare and vaccination services. Villages should monitor births and ensure continuity in vaccination every month, keeping track of the number of reported births, zero-dose children, and children scheduled for vaccination.
Additionally, every village should hold a monthly vaccination session. The program will track how many villages have planned and successfully conducted these sessions.
Proposals will be evaluated based on how well they align with the expected results, their cost-effectiveness, the clarity of outlined activities and objectives, the feasibility of the timeline, and the local presence and experience of the applicants.
