Deadline: 18-Jul-2025
UNICEF has launched a call for proposals to develop and co-create information materials focused on socioemotional skills for adolescents and their parents or caregivers. The goal is to empower adolescents aged 10 to 18 with tools for self and peer support, encourage help-seeking behavior, and reduce the stigma around accessing mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).
The project emphasizes the direct involvement of adolescents in the content creation process to ensure the materials are age-appropriate and relevant. The content will offer practical strategies to build socioemotional skills, guidance on how and where to seek help, and promote a supportive peer environment.
For parents and caregivers, the initiative will develop materials that raise awareness about common signs of stress and mental health challenges in children. It will include tools for supporting children’s emotional well-being, introduce self-care practices, and explain referral pathways for accessing professional help.
The selected civil society organization (CSO) will also collaborate with a service provider contracted by UNICEF, offering up to three consultations to inform the final production of materials. These efforts are expected to produce separate sets of user-friendly resources tailored to both adolescents and caregivers.
The opportunity is open to CSOs operating in Armenia, specifically Yerevan, with strong sector experience and realistic plans aligned with the expected results. Proposals will be evaluated on their relevance, timelines, and expertise in communication for development and youth engagement.
