Deadline: 10-Aug-2025
UNICEF has launched a call for proposals in support of the Ministry of Health’s Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) to improve vaccination coverage in Djibouti-Ville, which is home to about 70% of the country’s population.
The goal of this initiative is to help increase vaccination rates by strengthening community engagement in healthcare delivery, particularly in the Tadjourah region. The focus is on organizing and stimulating demand for vaccinations among local beneficiaries.
This project falls under the health sector, specifically in the area of immunization. The geographic focus includes Djibouti, with specific attention to the Obock region.
Expected outcomes include mapping and linking all villages in the Tadjourah region to healthcare facilities that will provide vaccination services through fixed, advanced, or mobile strategies. Each health structure must have an updated quarterly list of villages and population figures. Additionally, each village should have established and functioning community structures that actively support healthcare organization, especially for vaccination.
Proposals will be evaluated based on several criteria, including the clarity of activities and results, cost-effectiveness, local presence and experience, expertise in the sector, and the proposal’s alignment with the expected outcomes.
