Deadline: 21-Sep-2025
The NGO “Education 360”, in partnership with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and with the support of the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), announces a competition for the creation of pilot centers of pedagogical partnership with coworking spaces for parents in seven regions of Ukraine: Odessa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv.
The competition is part of the project “Childcare in Ukraine: A Systems Approach for a Better Recovery” and aims to promote innovative, sustainable, and affordable childcare solutions. By providing these services, the program seeks to help parents, particularly women from vulnerable groups, return to the workforce and contribute to strengthening Ukraine’s economic resilience.
Successful applicants can receive grant support of up to $20,000 to establish a center. Beyond financial assistance, participants will benefit from expert guidance from “Education 360” and the ILO, including consultations with lawyers, financiers, educators, and managers. This comprehensive support is designed to ensure the effective launch and long-term success of the childcare spaces.
Eligible applicants include officially registered organizations or institutions based in one of the seven target regions. Public organizations, social enterprises, municipal institutions in education or social welfare, as well as private initiatives in childcare, are welcome to apply. Applicants must commit to maintaining the stable operation of the center for at least five years. Demonstrating local support, such as providing a letter from a community or local government body, will be considered an advantage in the selection process.
This opportunity represents a significant step toward building new standards of childcare in Ukraine while fostering both social and economic recovery in the participating regions.
