Deadline: 23-Oct-22
If you would like to spend a year of high school in the United States, YES may be the program for you!
Students live with a host family, attend a U.S. high school, engage in activities to learn about American society and values, acquire leadership skills, and help educate Americans about their country and culture. The program is important in expanding the communication between the people of the United States and partner countries in the program.
YES scholarships cover all major expenses, including airfare, room and board, health insurance, pocket money, and educational supplies.
The program can support students with disabilities and encourages their participation. The Department of State and the YES program work with Mobility International (MIUSA) to provide students with disabilities with leadership-building workshops, appropriate information, and support as needed to enhance their year in the United States. Students with disabilities must also meet the eligibility requirements.
