The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation has introduced the Shelter Grant to support women and children affected by domestic violence. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to helping those in crisis and providing safe, supportive environments for healing and recovery.
Through the Shelter Grant, certified shelters and outreach programs across Canada can access essential resources to strengthen their operations and extend their impact. The grant ensures these organizations are better equipped to offer protection, care, and hope to those in need.
A total of 12 recipients will be selected, each receiving $10,000 to support their charitable efforts. The funding can be applied toward the shelter’s operating budget, though it cannot be used for staff travel under any circumstances.
Eligible applicants include shelters and outreach programs located anywhere in Canada. If an organization is not selected this year, they are encouraged to apply again in the following year, keeping the opportunity open for future support.
