Deadline: 15-Aug-2025
The Office for Victims of Crime is inviting grant applications to support services for victims of technology-facilitated abuse (TFA), which includes the use of digital platforms and the internet to bully, harass, stalk, intimidate, or control individuals.
The program aims to identify and provide assistance to victims of TFA. This includes creating a response protocol that outlines the roles and responsibilities of service providers and community partners. It also focuses on delivering key services such as privacy protection, image or video removal, safety planning, and mental health support. Additionally, it includes advising victims on their legal rights.
Funding will prioritize proposals that support law enforcement operations, combat violent crime, assist American citizens, protect children, and support victims of trafficking and sexual assault. Projects aligned with these goals are encouraged to specify their focus areas and expected impact in their proposals.
A total of $3 million is available under this opportunity, with a maximum award of $1 million per grantee. The funding is expected to support projects with a performance period of up to 36 months.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations. Government entities such as state, county, city, township, and tribal governments may apply. Educational institutions, including both public and private schools and universities, are also eligible. Public housing authorities and Indian housing authorities qualify as well. Nonprofit organizations, whether or not they have 501(c)(3) status, are eligible too. Other local government units may also apply.
