Deadline: 31-Aug-2025
The Agami Education Foundation is now inviting project proposals for its Fiscal Year 2026 under the School Program (SP) initiative. This program is dedicated to improving education for underprivileged children in Bangladesh by supporting eligible educational institutions.
Interested schools must meet several criteria to qualify. The applying institution must be secular, non-political, and open to students of all religions, castes, and ethnicities. It must also run educational programs specifically for disadvantaged children.
The foundation generally gives stronger consideration to educational institutions from pre-primary to secondary level. However, government, MPO, and kindergarten institutions are typically not eligible. Proposals that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—especially those focusing on quality education, health, clean water, sanitation, and gender equality—receive priority.
The foundation also values schools that incorporate health, nutrition, and economic development programs into their educational efforts. Preference is given to institutions that reflect Agami’s mission, vision, and values.
The selection process is designed to be fully transparent and impartial. Any attempt at lobbying or influencing the process will lead to disqualification.
To apply, schools must submit a project proposal in English, attached to a forwarding letter signed by the head of the institution.
