U.S Department of Education is seeking applications for its grant programme entitled “OSERS-OSEP: Personnel Development To Improve Services and Results for Children With Disabilities” to improve services and results for children with disabilities—associate degree preservice program improvement grants to support personnel working with young children with disabilities, catalog of federal domestic assistance.
Purposes
The purposes of this program are to:
- Help address State-identified needs for personnel in special education, early intervention, related services, and regular education to work with children, including infants and toddlers, with disabilities;
- Ensure that those personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge, derived from practices that have been determined through scientifically based research and experience, to be successful in serving those children.

- Estimated Total Program Funding: $1,200,000
- Award Ceiling: $150,000
Eligibility Criteria
- For profit organizations other than small businesses
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education
