Deadline: 12-Dec-21
How can we design responsible and ethical policies, products, and business practices – that prioritize people, especially youth, over profits – into the digital ecosystem? If you want to know the answer then register for 2022 Startup Innovation Challenge under the theme “Responsible and Ethical Technology”.
All people deserve the right for online safety and privacy, especially children and teens who use the internet and digital devices ubiquitously. Young digital natives are growing up in a technological world that is full of opportunities. Yet, the addictive and manipulative design of these technologies are shifting the cultural norms and negatively impacting the mental health and wellbeing of young people. “For far too long, technology corporations have relied on exploitative data practices, including unethical collection of personal and location data from children,” said Jade Magnus Ogunnaike, Senior Director of Campaigns at Color of Change.
The LookUp Leadership Lab is a unique opportunity for you to bond and collaborate with your peer Social Innovators from around the world. Additionally, you will be guided by LookUp’s Executive Mentors and Leadership Coaches who will not only help you further develop your product or campaign idea, they will expand your leadership toolkit so you can mobilize others for social change.
